Brain Damaged 2 month old child due to failure to timely communicate and act upon a positive blood culture, followed by progression to E. coli bacteremia, bacterial meningitis, seizures, multiple strokes, and ultimately severe hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy (HIE).
