Tim Schuler is an attorney at the Law Offices of Bruce G. Fagel and Associates who represents individuals and families in catastrophic medical malpractice litigation. His practice focuses on complex birth injury, neurological injury, and wrongful death cases arising from preventable medical negligence.
Prior to joining the firm, Tim spent years at one of the largest law firms in the world, where he defended hospitals, healthcare providers, and corporate defendants in high-exposure litigation, providing him with unique insight into how large institutions evaluate and defend catastrophic injury claims. This exclusive, insider knowledge places him in an excellent position to represent individuals and families against the very same people he once defended.
Tim was born and raised in Los Angeles, but left to attend Louisiana Tech University, where he obtained his Bachelor of Science in Economics in 2017. Thereafter, Tim attended Chapman University, Fowler School of Law, where he obtained his Juris Doctorate in 2021.
While in law school, Tim served as student body president, was a member of the moot court and mock trial teams, and was a founding member of the Employment Law Society. Academically, Tim won multiple CALI Awards, which is given to the student who obtains the highest grade in the law school class. Tim also served as an Academic Teaching Fellow, where he taught classes to first, second, and third-year law students, helping them develop the analytical skills needed to succeed in law school. Upon graduation, Tim was honored to receive the Dean’s Award, which is presented annually by the dean to the graduating student whose leadership and service to the school and its students represented a significant contribution to the development of the law school.
Tim is passionate about advocating for patients and families harmed by preventable medical negligence. He believes serious injury cases demand meticulous preparation, honest client relationships, and a willingness to take cases to trial when necessary to obtain justice.
Outside of his practice, Tim enjoys fitness training, snowboarding, concerts, and spending time with his dog, Brandy, along the Southern California coast.
